I am SO jacked. I have a ticket on Saturday. I haven't been able to blog about this due to our power outage from the hurricane.
I want John Daly to show up on the first tee with the bottle of Jack Daniels and give it to Boo and JB.
Team USA has a few things in their favor:
1.) Azinger will make the course long and non-penal. Bombs away.
2.) Valhalla is a PGA venue, where Euros normally falter.
3.) Valhalla is a newer course, we've played the Ryder Cup too often at places like The Country Club, Oak Hill, etc. In my opinion, the perfect RC was '91 at Kiawah.
4.) No Curtis Strange or Hal Sutton in the equation.
I have LOVED watching Ryder Cup highlights on the golf channel.
