Not too Smart

Just keep this tucked in your back pocket for when George Allen stages another campaign, be it for Senator, or higher.

The guy is a loser, much like other the Virginia Republicans (Jerry Kilgore, I'm looking in your direction) and only makes me happy my latest votes have gone with Mark Warner and Tim Kaine.

Did you read the article?

This is why American political discourse is at an all-time low. It's because if anyone hears anything remotely offensive, they say it is "hurtful".

(QUOTE:
Steve Mukherjee, a spokesman for the Washington chapter of the Association of Indians in America, said Allen's comments were "hurtful," and he chided the senator for not being more sensitive.

"The world is so volatile and so delicate," Mukherjee said. "You have to be careful what you say and how you say it. The U.S. is no longer black and white."

Asked what macaca means, Mukherjee said: "What it means, I don't know. But it's going to cause him some grief."

(UNQUOTE)

So - let me get this straight - the spokesperson for that ethnic groups says the comment was hrutful, even though he has no idea what it means?

And the WaPo decided to put this on the front page for 2 days?

Gees, I wonder what would happen if a politican said something about Indians, like "you can't go into a 7-11 without running into one...."

Boy, can't wait to see the media reaction for that. Oh wait, it already happened. Did you miss it?
