Close loss to UMD on Sunday to close UHall. While it is disappointing not to finish .500 in the ACC, one game away still translates to an excellent, over-acheiving season for Virginia, and if 8-8 equates to the shirt-popping, crass antics of the Terps, I'll take 7-9 anyday. We've got VT in the ACC tournament, and then the Carolina buzzsaw with a win (which is probably worse than the Duke buzzsaw).

Finishing no worse than 14-14 before (presumably) NIT play is a great first season for Leitao, and he can sell an overacheiving team with ample playing time in the ACC to potential recruits, although it is the same line we've been using for the last 8 years.
