My ranking of the top five Adam Sandler movies:
5. 50 First Dates. Barely edged Mr. Deeds and Big Daddy, and only because I picked it out of a hat.
4. The WaterBoy. Moments of laughter (not hilarity). Didn't care for the casting of Henry Winkler and Kathy Bates. Would have preferred Gar Heard and Carnie Wilson.
3. The Wedding Singer. Man the 1980's were tubular.
2. Happy Gilmore. Carl Weathers was perfect for Chubbs Peterson.
1. Billy Madison. Comic genius and a smoking Veronica Vaughn.

Its very scary to see how similar Sandler's career mirrors Eddie Murphy's career. Both had a strong SNL stint with two blockbuster comedies right after that. They both road the coattails of those movies (BM and HG for Sandler and Trading Places and 48 hrs for Eddie)and then turned out average shit for about 5-10 years and then made a solid date movie in Boomerang and Spanglish. Eddie's beginning career is a little more impressive with BHC1-3,Coming to America, and The Golden Child, but these could definately be put in the same category as Sandler's Water Boy, Wedding Singer, and Big Daddy.
